BTAC RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING

Montana Main Street comes to Boulder
Tash Wisemiller, Program Coordinator of the Montana Main Street Program at the Montana Department of Commerce, presented an overview of the Main Street program to an expanded and thoroughly engaged audience at the March 2nd BTAC meeting. Two MDC-related bill pass
We are at the midway point in this legislative session. Representative Kirk Wagoner's HB 387 has passed the House and has been transmitted to the Senate. This legislation would keep MDC open for upon to two more years and create an Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) (although the legislation doesn't not require it be in Boulder). Senate Bill 271, sponsored by Senator Fred Thomas, would also keep MDC open for two more years, would allow accepting new patients until December, 20
